Betelnut Resort, Diveagar, The Guest (s), visiting and/or staying at the Resort, automatically agree to the Resort policies, terms, and conditions mentioned below upon check-in.

 

IDENTIFICATION (ID) & REGISTRATION POLICY

The identity proof would include a valid driving licence / voter identity card / adhaar card etc. PAN Card is not accepted. Valid passport with a valid VISA is mandatory for all foreign national guests. The guest has to fill the Guest registration book, with complete details is mandatory. 

 

RESERVATION

The reservation agreement and the amendment concerning the services of Betelnut Resort in Diveagar are for the resort only binding if the Betelnut Resort and the client confirm it. The specific benefits are based on the reservation confirmation. Notify that the person, who signs for reservation/booking, is liable for the entire invoice of the reservation.

 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Check-In: 12 Noon & Check Out: 10:00 am. The stay can be extended up to 6:00 pm on payment of half the charge of that day subject to availability of room. If guest want to stay further beyond 6:oo pm then full day tariff shall be levied. Late Checkout and extension is subject to availability only. 

 

Early Arrival: Early Check-In can be requested while making your reservation or by contacting the Front Desk prior to your arrival. Early Check-In is based on availability only and can’t be guaranteed.

 

Early Departure: Upon Check In, guests will be asked to confirm the departure date. In case of early departure, there will be no refund of tariff amount.

OCCUPANCY POLICY

  • The maximum number of guest that are allowed within the room, are the number and names of guests that have been paid for while reserving the room.

  • The occupancy is for 2 adults and 2 children below 5 years only or 3 adults with an extra charge of INR 1500

  • Extra bed are available for a fee. Availability is not guaranteed.

  • Child from 5 years - 17 years will be charged INR 750

  • A maximum of 1 child below 5 years stay complimentary in the room with parents without any charges, provided no extra bed is used. Child age proof is required at time of Check-In.

KEY CARD POLICY

Guests should obtain the key from the reception only. Per Occupant, only 1 Key would be issued. Carry Key at all times during your stay. Upon Check Out, the key is to be handed back to the Front Desk. In case the key is lost, its amount INR 500 shall be payable.

 

PAYMENTS

Tariff is subject to change without prior notice. Management reserves the right to withdraw the package at sole discretion without prior intimation or notice. In the event of any changes in taxes levied by the State or Central Government, the same will be applicable from the date such taxes come into force.

Payment for Groups and Tour Operators

75% of the total amount is required at the time of booking and 25% of the remaining amount to be paid 4 weeks before the date of arrival.

 

Payment for Individual Travelers

The final bill must be paid at the latest at departure by cash or online transfer. Rates/Prices and room availability are not guaranteed until the online transfer details or a pre-payment have been received. The resort may without any notice release reservations without online transfer or a pre-payment guarantee.

 

If you would like to pre-pay your stay, please request an invoice. In case of a No Show or late cancellation the total booking fee, according to our cancellation policy, will be charged to the registered credit card. Betelnut Resort takes the privacy of your personal data very seriously. Your personal information will only be used to process your booking.

 

Payment Policy for bookings in Peak Season

In order to process and guarantee a booking in our peak season, we require a pre-payment of 100% of the booking price, 30 days before arrival. Rates/Prices and room availability are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Reservations without pre-payment may be released by the hotel without any notice.

 

CANCELLATIONS

  • Please check availability status with our reservation offices and website.

  • Booking on first come first serve basis and subject to be availability.

  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • All cancellation requests to be sent by email/phone.

  • The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price.

  • Any cancellation received within 7 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge. Failure to arrive at your hotel or property will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given.

 

PRICES

Unless otherwise stated, prices are per cottage, in Indian Rupees, inclusive of all taxes.

 

RESTAURANT POLICY

The restaurant operates on time. Breakfast: 8.00 am - 10.30 am | Lunch: 12 pm - 3 pm | Dinner: 7 pm - 10 pm. 

Last food order will be taken at 10 pm. While dining within the restaurants, outside food beverages and liquor are not allowed to be consumed. Guests creating a disturbance to the operations shall be asked to vacate the premises without any refund or tariff. Meals will not be served in rooms. 

 

SWIMMING POOL POLICY

Timings: 8 am – 8 pm only. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 17 years must be supervised by an adult in and around the pool area at all times. Children under 17 years are not permitted in the swimming pool by themselves. Guests are prohibited from entering the pool intoxicated. Swimming costumes are compulsory and won't be allowed into the pool without appropriate swimming costumes.

GAMES AREA POLICY

Games area will be operated from 9 am to 8 pm. No eatable or drinks are not allowed in the game area. Any damage to games will be

charged accordingly. Guest requested to collect games from the front desk after entry and it should be handed back at the front desk.

 

DAMAGE TO RESORT POLICY

Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Resort property caused by themselves, their friends or visitors or for any person for whom they are responsible. The Resort also reserves the right to call the Local Police Station in case of guests refusing to pay for the damage, including but not limited to, taking possession of guest bookings and detainment of guests until the matter reaches an amicable solution. Such guest will also be checked out, irrespective of the number of days of the stay booked.

 

ROOM LINEN POLICY

For every stay, each charged guest will get 1 towel a day. For stay over rooms, towels will be changed the next day. Resort Towels are not allowed to carry outside resort premises. Any damage or irremovable stained on linen will be charged to guest bill accordingly.

 

SMOKING POLICY

Effective 2nd October 2008, the government has introduced “No - Smoking” legislation for Resorts, and all public places. As a consequence, smoking is prohibited in reception, restaurant and bedroom and toilet area. 

 

SECURITY AND VALUABLES 

The guests have to take care of their belongings and valuables. The management or staff of Betelnut Resort is not responsible for security of your belongings and valuables. 

 

GOVERNMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

Guests are requested to observe the government rules and regulations in force applicable to India from time to time in respect to registration, alcoholic drinks, firearms, etc.
